Low Profile type 0.3 mm Pitch Stacking Connectors

  LPY Series
• High-density low profile (1.5 mm height) 0.3 mm pitch type connectors for PCB-to-PCB or PCB-to-FCP (Flexible Print Circuits).
• When compared with a 0.5 mm pitch connector, this connector can drastically reduce mounting surface on a PCB by approximately 35%.
• All connectors from 28 contacts to 80 contacts are designed with EMI-filter shielded structure.
• The method of mounting connector on PCB or FPC supports SMT reflow soldering. The solder contacts are placed in zigzag formation, with pitch between rows of 0.6 mm, and has a structure to prevent solder bridges between adjacent contacts.
• Principal applications are for mobile equipment such as cellular phones, personal digital assistants (PDA), digital cameras, etc.

  LPZ Series
• The LPZ series stacking connectors have achieved the world’s smallest stacking-height of 0.7 mm and pitch of 0.3 mm.
• These connectors contribute to the development of significantly thin products and to the reduction of the mounting surface on a PCB.
• These stacking connectors can reduce EMI noise to approximately 1/5 that of connectors without shields.
• By utilizing our own unique contact action, high mating retention can be maintained.
