AKX series |
| • |
AKX series connectors consist of
a connector and cage. The connector and cage conform to
MSA (Multi-Source Agreement). |
| • |
Can be used as a host connector
for SFP transceivers or a connector for differential and
high-speed transmissions. |
| • |
Available for either of two methods
of mounting cage onto a PCB, solder type and press-in
type. |
| |

| |
AKX-20LFY (G1) |
| • |
Conforms to MSA (Multi-Source Agreement). |
| • |
20 contacts with 0.8 mm pitch. |
| • |
Contact surface is changed from
cross section to roll type surface contact. Contact durability
of pad and contact surfaces on a PCB with built-in transceiver
has been improved and the reliability has increased. |
| • |
Excellent high-speed transmission
characteristic has been achieved by selecting an optimal
design for differential transmission and suitable insulation
material. |
| • |
Lower insertion loss has been achieved
by matching impedance. |
| • |
Achieves low reflection attenuation
by clearing away stubs that occur in press-in section,
which is integral to in-line products. |
| |
|
| |
AKX-CG/AKX-CGP |
| • |
Conforms to MSA (Multi-Source Agreement). |
| • |
The cage can be installed on a PCB
by solder or press-in method. |
| • |
The cage consists of an upper and
lower cage. For press-in type mounting, the upper
and lower cages are shipped after assembly. For solder
type mounting, the upper
and lower cages can be shipped either before or after
being assembled. |
| • |
The upper and lower cages are attached
at 6 places on a PCB by soldering. |
| • |
For soldering method, provides temporally
lock mechanism with the cage on a PCB,
thus achieving good workability. |
| • |
The transceiver can be reliably
ejected (unlocking). |
| • |
Right angle type female package
connectors. Straight type male backplanes connectors. |
